The Research Executive Agency (REA) has now completed the evaluation of the proposals submitted to the H2020- FNR-2020-2 first stage call.

The following overall thresholds were applied:

• ·FNR-05-2020: Husbandry for quality and sustainability. Sub-topic A: Husbandry for sustainability. Sub-topic B: Husbandry for quality 8
• ·FNR-11-2020: Prospecting terrestrial biological resources for biologically. Sub-topic A: Prospecting terrestrial natural biological resources for biologically active compounds. Sub-topic B: Prospecting aquatic natural biological resources for biologically active compounds.  9,5
• ·FNR-12-2020: Industrial Microbiomes: learning from nature. 8
• ·LC-FNR-13-2020: Bio-based industries leading the way to turning CO2 emissions. 8
• ·FNR-16-2020: Enzymes for more environment-friendly consumer products 8

The results of the evaluation are as follows:

• ·FNR-05-2020– RIA: 19 submitted proposals. 7 proposals are above threshold
• ·FNR-11-2020- RIA: 75 submitted proposals.12 proposal is above threshold
• ·FNR-12-2020- RIA: 13 submitted proposals. 6 proposal is above threshold
• ·LC-FNR-13-2020- RIA: 21 submitted proposals. 10 proposal is above threshold
• ·FNR-16-2020- RIA: 22 submitted proposals. 9 proposal is above threshold

The applicants were recently informed about the evaluation results for their proposals.

The Generalised feedback will be published around beginning of May 2020 on the topic page under "Topic conditions and documents" section.
It is expected that the first grant agreements will be signed around April 2021.
