ERC Starting and Consolidator grant proposal writing training

A training proposal writing on the ERC Starting and Consolidator grants 2021 calls for proposals is organised by NCP Flanders. The training is organised to support potential researchers and host institutions in the preparation of their ERC Starting and Consolidator grant application at a host institution located in Flanders.
Due to the measures taken following the corona outbreak all parts of this training will take place online and can be taken part in with a computer/laptop and good internet connection.
It is advised to potential applicants to have attended the webinar on the call modalities on 6 October 2020. The presentations can be consulted here.
The call modalities for the 2021 calls will be made available on the Horizon 2020/Horizon Europe Funding and Tender Portal. It is expected they will be published once the calls open.
The provisional call dates for the next Starting and Consolidator grants calls under Horizon Europe are as follows: Starting Grants: open: 12-01-2021, deadline: 09-03-2021 / Consolidator Grants: open: 21-01-2021, deadline: 20-04-2021.
Registration is free and mandatory.

MareGraph - Towards an Interoperable Marine Knowledge Graph
The MareGraph project, ‘Towards an Interoperable Marine Knowledge Graph’, obtained funding under the Digital Europe topic ‘OPEN-AI – Public Sector Open Data for AI and Open Data Platform’. The project will increase the semantic, technical, and legal interoperability of three selected high-valued datasets (HVDs) all maintained by the Flanders Marine Institute (VLIZ), which is one of the four partners of the project. This will allow the onboarding of essential marine datasets in the Common European Data Spaces. As such MareGraph will provide a structural component in the digital transition of the marine landscape. The numerous impacts of the project will benefit our seas globally in old and new ways to come.
