Materials manufacturing SMEs invited to provide feedback on their needs for digital tools

The project DiMAT, funded by Horizon Europe and focusing on "Digital Modelling and Simulation for Design, Processing and Manufacturing of Advanced Materials" is looking for input. The project currently gathers industry feedback for the solutions it is developing - open digital tools for SMEs in Materials Manufacturing.  These tools will help companies model, stimulate and optimize materials throughout the value chain. To collect feedback, the project is conducting a brief, anonymous survey (about 15 minutes) that will help to refine the DiMAT solution's offer for SMEs.  Survey link here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSd7LzVpehwgCF8-qH5qwiN343j6eW7zmFWGGIrvOOtjxKKTHw/viewform   Later this year, a call for early adopters will be launched with access to the DiMAT solutions and tailored experts support.  Participating in this survey will give materials manufacturing SMEs located in Flanders the opportunity to provide their input on their needs to allow the project to tailor its offers for SMEs.

Living Guidelines on the responsible use of generative AI in research

Generative AI tools are disrupting many different activities, including research, and will continue to do so. While these tools are powerful and useful for some tasks, they present challenges and limitations that users need to be aware of.The Commission, along with the countries and stakeholders represented in the European Research Area (ERA) Forum, decided to jointly develop a set of recommendations that could provide simple and actionable guidance to the European research community to foster the adoption of the technology in a responsible manner.   The guidelines were launched recently and aim to consolidate different ideas and establish directions that can reassure those who use generative AI in the scientific domain. They will be updated regularly to keep pace with the very fast technological development in this area. The research community is encouraged to contribute their views on how to enhance future versions through the feedback form.Living Guidelines on the responsible use of generative AI in research (Factsheet)More on AI in Science on the Commission dedicated webpage.
